美國超級碗時段，Amazon 發佈首段自家 Prime Video 劇集《The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power》預告。
預告當中透露了 The Rings of Power 的故事背景是發生在 The Hobbit 及 The Lord of The Ring 故事之前，即中土世界裡的 Second Age 時代（Lord of The Ring 發生在 Third Age）。
Amazon 在改編版權上已花上 2.5 億美元，消息指花在第一季的費用就已經高達 4.62 億美元。《The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power》第一季將於今年 9 月 2 日正式於 Prime Video 啟播！
