在 Marvel 電影宇宙中飾演雷神 Thor 的知名演員 Chris Hemsworth，他與 Marvel 所簽下的合約僅到拍攝完《復仇者聯盟4》為止，意即他此後或將不會再飾演 Thor，因為目前他已經完成了《復仇者聯盟4》的主要拍攝工作。
Chris Hemsworth 在接受今日美國訪問時，被問到是否復仇者聯盟的結束即意味著他所扮演的 Thor 的結束，他給出了肯定的答案：
以目前的合約來說，沒錯，我已經履行了合約內容。我不會再扮演這名角色了。這個想法有點嚇人，因為這件事感覺起來是沒有盡頭的，不過現在卻可能要結束了。
“Contractually, right now — yeah, this is it. I’m done. I won’t be playing the character again. It’s sort of a scary thought. This really seemed like this never-ending thing. And now it’s potentially finishing.”
不過也別忘了，過去飾演鋼鐵人的 Robert Downey Jr. 原本也一度要離開，不過最後他也改變了想法，決定接演《復仇者聯盟：無限之戰》，甚至還表明若有《鋼鐵人4》他也很樂意演出。
Chris Hemsworth 這方面看起來也很樂觀，因為《雷神索爾3 / 雷神奇俠3》的成功，他們在慶祝之餘，甚至還萌生了拍攝第四集的想法：
「我們為 Thor 3 慶祝了幾次，但是我們也在想『如果我們拍第四集會怎麼樣呢？我們可以試試這個和這個。』我們拋出了不少想法。」接著他針對角色說道：「我覺得我們在重新定義他，所以若我們想要，現在可是有很大的舞台可以發揮。」
“We gave cheers … a few times,” says Hemsworth. “To Thor 3, but it also was like, ‘What could we do with four? We could do this and this.’ We were throwing ideas around.”
“I felt like we re-invented him,” he adds of the character. “There is a bigger platform now to continue if we want to.”
